whee! i finished my jian tie bu!!! YAY!!! aiya...actualli not finished yet la...i just scribbled down 2000 words onto my paper...stoopid me...now i hv to type it all out n den print it and cut and past and put pictures and make into a booklet. boo. oh well...at least the most horrifying part is done. =) now my hands are all stained wif pencil marks....silvery and SEXAYYE!

ok so tmr's the year end church dinner and my dad's hosting it. and we're doing a skit! and boy i hv 13 lines to memorize...memorized oredi la...haha. mans y does the number 13 keep on appearing in my life? im 13 this yr, the show 13 going on 30, i hv 13 lines to memorize, im born on the 13th day of the 13th month...boo. and not say 13 is like the luckiest number la >.<

anw i spent half an hour toking to the mirror. i remember my lines now, and i think the mirror remembers me too =D ok so i better not mess up my lines tmr. man im so nervous. plus i hv to carry the big fat guitar onto stage. sheesh. i hope everything goes well.

tess and our whole gang are staying over at her place tmr nite...or rather...next yr...man...im in a dilemma now...should i go? should i not? here's a dilemme convo i had wif tess on msn just now...lol...

lydia: mel u better not leave me here! i dont dare to sleep on my own! but i dont mind if u bring me along =)

angel: mel...u deserve the break...go to tessa's house and enjoy urself

devil: no mel ure a lazy pok...stay at home and do ur jian tie bu until u die

tessa: get ur ass outta here! i hvent seen u for days even though u stay just next door u smelly mel!!!

mel's ass: boo. i'm tired of being sat on all day at the same place...i wish i could fart somewhere else!

u mite be thinking the time of posting on my blog is wrong. well, if you do, den YOU'RE wrong. haha. it's 2:03 am...yea im always awake at unearthly hours. im nocturnal u see. im an owl. im WISE =) -grins SMARTly.

ok so went to east coast wif the snr 1s on monday. cycling was totally NOT fun la! i think my stamina has dropped due to one whole yr of intensive bowling and spoiling myself wif air-conditioned trngs. i was like almost dying in the hot sun. and we cycled like...from one end of east coast to the other, and then BACK AGAIN! i was like...totally dying la. and den jie jie ros was like: let's do an experiment on how long mel can survive without air-con. baah.

den we went to macs for a break. WOA the aircon was HEAVENLY man! the milo was...thirst-quenching and...and..refreshing and...exhilarating! den after that they were like: ok let's go back n cycle! *faints* and adelyn was kinda abit tired too la. so we both rented the in-tendum bike! u noe those 2-seater ones. yeap! and we were like: this is gona be so much easier man! den gloria and sheryl rented one too.

den jie jie ros was like: eh ure better try out to make sure ure can cycle wif that ah. den we were like...DUH can la...chicken feat. so gloria and sheryl got on first...and dey were struggling la...den i dono where they went...den adelyn and i hopped onto ours. we were super scared la! seriously la it feels just like the first time u learnt how to bike la. we were toppling here and there along the path, creating this reali huge scene. n den we were luffing like siao at how foolish we looked.

den after that gloria n sheryl came back n said they gave up coz they couldnt even balance properly. and jie jie ros was telling us: aiya ure dont use this oredi la...gloria and sheryl oso cant use...i think ure better change back to the single one.

but we were like: no! must persevere! jian chi dao di! *tries again and loses balance* den after that we finally got the bike moving, but it was super shaky la! coz u noe im at the back and if i turn my handle just abit adelyn's handle in the front will turn like siao and den the bike will go crazy. but still, we were like: yay! we MOVED! n den just after that *BANG!* *CRASH!* *OUCH!* we fell into a ditch >.<

yikes our legs were all smeared in oil and soil n stuff la! eeks! den the heroic me went: come, let me try the front! den i hopped on and den we were like "1...2..3...go!" den i dint dare to start. but adelyn had oredi started. so i was like...lifting my legs in the air while adelyn was peddling and den adelyn was like: eh paddle paddle! we're moving! kwik kwik! but i was like...screaming my lungs out and swinging my handle from left to right. and like everyone in our path saw us and immediately siam-ed. haha. den finally i plucked up the courage and peddled! and wahoo! we cycled! :D

n soon, i was pro enuf that when i sat at the back i could lift my hands in the air. u noe just like you zhen did in winter sonata. super nice man! do i rock or do i rock. i stone.

den after that i saw ling ling and lisa! den ling was like: melmel u cut ur hair! ahh!!!! n den pok lisa was like: ling....ur fren ah? like wad on earth?! she dint recognize me! so i went: lisa! im melissa la! and she had to go up to me, scrutinize me and register it in her brain before recognizing me -.-

watched kungfu hustle today wif josh lydia and folks. haha super funny la! but compared to all the korean dramas...it's super slapstick >.< but this is the first ever movie which i cried in ok! i noe this is supposed to be a comedy...but the lollipop part was so sad! i was like "oh no...cant let anyone see me cry" *takes serviette from macdonalds bag and dabs eyes*

cca orientation later on...baah...i cant go for skit practice coz of that >.< we'll probably be entertaining enthu parents and scaring those puny little p6s by shoving brochures into their puny hands. haha.

lady marmalade has been on the loop mode since 1:30am...that's like one whole hour. mans...it's scientifically proven that if u listen to the same song for 15 times in a row without getting tired of it, ure addicted to it. im trying to forget that im addicted to u... baah

ok so now that the dancing song has been stuck in my head for like...ages, i've decided to get crazy on another song too, so that poor sabrina wont feel so...sick of my singing on the way to trng :p. ok so my new craze is...LADY MARMALADE! wahoo!! ok and sabrina and i hv been quarrelling over whether it's WAHOO or WOOHA. it's wahoo rite? RITE! :D

wheee. ok so, how was christmas? i had loads and loadsa pressies! den at nite i was opening my pressies. and u noe, pak leong (aunty jeanie) oways gives the coolest stuff. so i left her pressie to the last. den it finally came for me to open it. i was like so excited la. den i opened the top and saw in red letters: disney jigsaw puzzle. i was like...??!! O_O puzzle?! o man! den i sadly ripped the wrapper apart and dere was this post-it saying: this is not a jigsaw puzzle! i was like...PHEW! haha. end up it was this reali cool billabong sling bag.

so it was the last sunday in church...which means we had prize giving. and like DUH i won first prize! haha. aiya not surprising la hor...expected...7 years in a row... :P (i am so NOT ego) o yea! sarah u rock man! ure so cao guai! i cant stand u! u actualli won the ong phillip award?! that is like...FULL ATTENDANCE! which means attend every sunday skool lesson=no skipping sunday skool lesson=no going holiday for more than a week. wow!

o i dint go for carolling this yr. baah. den sarah said she met this gurl called sarah tan while carolling. i was like...cool...sarah khaw and sarah...same name. nice. den i was like: eh? sarah tan? sounds familiar...haha den i remembered my snr sarah. den i tot it was her. coz like...u noe they went carolling at yio chu kang rite? yea...haha end up is some sec 2 gurl from cedar girl's >.<

from these few days that jacq has been back in singapore, i can hereby conclude that jacq not only has difficulty in reading, spelling and drawing, but she also has problem SPEAKING. coz today in church we were like...singing the dancing song again. den we were debating abt smth la...so it went like that

me: jacq ure totally out of tune! u cant sing so high for the chorus!
jacq: no! it's correct wad!
me: haiyo u can't sing man!
jacq: yes i can!
pearlyn: (pops head from behind) eh wad ure doing?
jacq: we're farguing.
pearlyn: O_O...??!!

ahaha! she wanted to say argue but i dono wad went into her mad mind, she added the f in. so it was like fargue. ahaha! den tess was walking by just then and she was like: jacq...did u...just say that word? hahaha.

man dec 31st is coming soon. my dad's hosting the dinner. baah. but quite good la. we did food tasting for him today =) the dessert veri nice. i ate 8 tarts and 2 chocolates. im FAT! wheee! o yea den we gurls must do a skit too. baah. im supposed to be the ego guitarist hu acts smart. lol. wait, i dont need to act smart. i AM smart -grins GUAIly =) wheee. going to east coast to cycle and bowl today. wif the snr 1 gurls + melissa, louisa, glenna and jie jie ros. den on tuesday the whole troop of us are going to sentosa! whee!! there's me, jacq, tess, glenna all the sec 4s, the 20 year-olds like christine, melissa, ting ni, lynette, tabs...blablabla

i think the church coffeeshop milo standard has dropped. as in like, it's so diluted now la! plus on christmas day we were in the car at the traffic light, abt 20m away from the coffeeshop and we could actualli hear the drinks uncle shouting the orders >.< den he oways has this habit of shouting "siu ah!" (hot) when he isnt carrying any hot stuff at all. like, yst we were looking for a seat and as usual he went "siu ah! siu ah!" and we turned arnd just to see him carrying a tray of COLD can drinks....-_- den when i was taking chilli he was like "siu ah!" and threw an EMPTY wan ton mee plate into the bucket...*smacks head*

hoho. ok tt's all...anw...lydia's back! whee...just went shopping wif her today at orchard. spent a whole day there...met quite a few ppl. first i saw mel chen wif her mom. n she was kind of shocked to see my new hairstyle. lol. den after that i met tess at heeren. and den i saw my snr deanna. i think she wasnt sure whether it was me or not. coz i rebonded+cut my hair. so i like, stared at her. den he stared back wif that "eh?" look. and den whispered smth to her mom. den i smiled at her and this big fat man barged in btwn us. boo. o den after that i saw AQ and her mom and den my mom said AQ's mom taught her in JC. haha.

ok so anw...just returned from music camp too. took up guitar. yeap. learnt a few new songs like heart of worship (my fav!), silent night, jingle bells, becoz he lives and open the eyes of my heart. the latter is quite hard. havent mastered it yet. boo.

anw, so it was hours and hours of intensive trng each day. but it was quite enjoyable. my fingers were all hard n black by the end of each day. n den on the last day we had our 3rd and last inspirational message and at the end of the msg louis asked hu would like to serve the Lord wif music to step forward. quite a few stepped up. like...5? and i was reali shocked when ppl like jeevan and joshua stepped up. i mean...dint expect it >. < but it's reali encouraging to see how they hv...erm...matured?

n den on the last nite each grp was given a choice to either help clean up after dinner or to attend prayer meeting wif the adults. and like...DUH everyone was fighting for the cleaning up choice. like...hu on earth would wanna go for prayer meeting. but ray said like... u noe we cant always be avoiding these kinda things (prayer meeting)...

so yea...in the end we chose to go for prayer meeting, although there were still alot of "vacancies" for the cleaning up ones. n den after dinner melissa's group was oso supposed to go for prayer meeting. n a few other sec 1 girls were in her group. den her mom said that she would be sending the sec 1 girls home first. which means they would neither hv to attend prayer meeting nor clean up. den i asked y and she said coz they were still too young to understand or attend prayer meeting. n at that moment i felt kind of...erm...how do u say it...i felt it was kind of unfair? i mean like...here we are...to little sec 1 gurls (sheryl and i) waiting to attend prayer meeting and there they are...the rest of the sec 1 gurls not needing to clean up nor attend prayer meeting. why? coz they were too young to understand. like...HELLO we are sec 1 gurls too u noe...y isit so unfair...plus like...just a few mnths ago my parents dragged my bro and i to prayer meeting. i almost died in there...

n den just after that they sprang another surprise on us telling us we had to stay for the WHOLE prayer meeting which was one and a half hours, an extension from the previously agreed 15 mins. i was like...super angry and...yea...i was pulling a long face for the whole of that time la. and to ray, amanda and charmaine: i wasnt pissed wif u guys k? i reali wasnt. yea...i just felt it unfair la...u get wad i mean? no hard feelings...

yea ok so there i was....sitting wif sheryl, the older gurls the adults waiting for prayer meeting to begin, and there they were, the other sec 1s, happily waiting to go home. i reali felt unfair. budden...as i sat there thinking...i thought of wad ray said...bout not oways being able to avoid this kinda things...and...i told myself...im here for a music camp, not just to learn new instruments but to oso use music to serve the Lord...and there i was...sulking over the fact that i had to go prayer meeting. and den i began to feel that it was like...reali wrong.

so yea...we began prayer meeting. before that i was reali prepared to just sleep thru the whole thing...but after wad i had thought thru...i just kind of forced myself to pay attention to everything the speaker was saying. and i did. i felt reali happi after that. and i reali learnt quite alot from there la...plus uncle vincent picked a reali meaningful song. though i must admit i can't stand the tune and melody...the words are reali meaningful. toking bout how we're oways caught up in the troubles of our lives and being so busy and stuff...and that Jesus whispered to me and pointed up to heaven where my name was or smth la. cant reali remember. anw ppl it's from our own church book...the maroon one. song number 135. if u noe the song name tell me k!

yea ok...plus like it was the first time in over 20 years that there were sooo many youths attending the meeting. and AGAIN i was the youngest. nvm. but like...all the elders...mr francis maniam...mrs ang...etc...they were all veri glad and encouraged to see so many youths attending the meeting. and we were like the centre of attraction lol (next to God).

yea...so the elders were very very happy to see us...seriously...but wad's more important is that God was happy =) ok anw christmas is just coming in 2 days time. so...MERRY CHRISTMAS! HOHOHO! haha. and btw ppl dont use "x'mas"! coz it's crossing out christ! use CHRISTMAS! remember k? yay! BYE!

yes charlene LEE i am fianlly updating my blog. ok so i just returned from malaysia a few days ago. cameron was erm, cool. we stayed at the same bungalow as we stayed in when i was p4! cool eh? brings back fond memories...hohoho. anw we spent most of our time lazing arnd in the chalet...playing mahjong, badminton, table-tennis and guitar. basically we did alot of fellowshipping and got to noe each other better....i suppose? the food rocked man. our cook was cao good la! especially the bbq on the last nite. woa the chicken tastes heavenly. wait...they're no chickens in heaven >.<

den at night it was cao funny la. everyone had fallen asleep except me and at least 4 ppl were snoring. it was like...tess was snoring thru her nose, my bro was breathing cao loudly and someone else was snorting and another one breathing loudly thru the throat. hahaha so we were like hving a snoring orchestra and i was lying there listening to the beautiful music noise pollution.

o den the owner had this real cute doggy. it's like onli one month's old. soooo small n sooo cute! it's the smallest dog i've ever seen. i'll try to post some pictures of it later on.

den we drove down to sunway lagoon for our church camp. ray bunked in wif tess and me. i must say our camp speaker mr lee mee onn is a good speaker. haha he's hilarious and rather lame. yea...he's a reali good speaker la. learnt quite alot of stuff from him. o plus it's my first yr in the adult's group. and i was the youngest in there! >.<>

o yea den we extended our holiday for one more day and spent the whole day in the wet theme park. we went there the day before but we discovered alot of cool stuff. haha charmaine and i were trying to do backfloats in the wave pool. den i successfully backfloated for like 1min and den this humongous wave came...CHARGING over my puny body and burying me in it's denseness.

continued filming our music video today. went to botanical gardens. POK jess asked me to go by the visitor's centre which was right smack in the middle of the botanical gardens and den 5 mins later called me to tell me to walk to the swan lake which was right at the END of the place. wahseh i think i did more trekking than filming man. plus we took 20mins to try to get the ball stuck in the tree so we could film it. and another gazillion throws to try and make the ball hit my head >.<>

anw, the year's approaching an end and in the blink of an eye it's year 2005. sigh, time flies. soon im gona be a sec 2, which also means im gona be a snr!!! oh man y do i sound so excited. frankly, i hate being a snr. as in like...seriously if i think carefully, the only like, younger people who i'm close to are my younger cousins, lydia and sherry. ok maybe not sherry la. i tok to her n stuff la, but dont reali chat or tok girl tok wif her. yea she's like 3 years younger than me la. it'll take some time before we can reali get along. whereas lydia's just one year younger =) oh man...i just told sherry im busy typing something (this entry) den she asked hu im typing to. i said nobody. den she said i must be toking to jesus. >.<

oh btw lydia's coming back from aussie to visit us on the 18th! cant wait to see her! XD and people, my bdae's coming soon. 13 jan! mark ur calendars! i love BIG BIG presents. or small small one like handphone oso can =)

ok so anw back to where i was. not really looking forward to becoming a snr. i guess it's coz thru all these years im always mixing wif older people, or ppl of my age. dono y. in pri skool i dint even noe a single of my netball jnr's name. >.<>

uncle john showed me a video of 4 or 5 mgs sec 1 bowlers bowling. oh my word i tell u i almost fainted when i saw their video la. i mean it's like...every single one of them can bowl as good as....say....sarah? ok maybe not as good la, but close to her. my goodness. it's like bowling in a nationals full of sarahs. i wonder how we can even survive to NOT be the last few.

i noe they say there can be miracles and stuff. the song goes "there can be miracles, when you believe" but just believing wont make miracles happen. if u noe wad i mean. my class's motto is "face the fight, live the dream." i fully agree wif this statement. but if u dont face the fight, how can u live the dream? u guys noe wad i mean. and im giving a veri big HINT.

okay i noe im being veri pessimistic here, so let's be more optimistic. mr lee mee onn said thank God for everything. so let me thank God.

sabrina= my travelling partner! goes to trng and home after trng wif me! :D my guitar partner too. we still hvent thought of a name for our band though? ahha. o yea one more important thing. she helps me download the songs i want! YAY! you rock! YOU MAKE ME FEEL LIKE DANCING. haha

aik xin=funny! and veri cute! but also veri SLOW in understanding jokes. my beloved ah gong! haha helps me when im in trouble >.<>

sarah=veri crappy and giggly. luffs at almost everything. o and we urm tend to read the same books. so we discuss abt them? erm. NO not book nerds. we just discuss :) o and as i said she luffs alot so if ure sad just tok to her. and last but not least...she's my beloved mummy!!!

okay. thank God for everything la =) anw, music camp's tmr. hvent started packing...ahhh...nvm charlene hasnt packed too. haha. i shall get ready to hv a truckload-full of gazillion blisters.
