I DONT WANNA SLEEP TONIGHT. why. coz i've been having super super super weird and senseless dreams for 5 nights in a row! so freaky pls. plus i think obs is haunting me. many of my dreams were abt obs.

on wednesday night:
i dreamt that i went back to obs and saw our instructor issss. then obs was over and we all went home. and so i was walking home from obs through the kembangan estate. but it was so weird coz i usually walk from eunos, not kembangan. and i seemed to be walking the route which i take when i go home from lao shi's tuition. and it was like 2am. so everything was super super dark. then suddenly i saw a female CORPSE lying on the patch of grass. apparently she had committed suicide. and the place was so SMELLY. then i had no choice but to walk past the corpse. and just as i was abt to do so, this strong wind swept past and the grass turned into MUD.

on thursday night:
i dreamt that yiu sum and i were taking 190 from the orchard side to go to school. then as we got down from the bus, we saw AUDREY HO at the bus stop. and she was in a PREFECT'S ATTIRE.

on friday night:
i dreamt that i was a TKGS girl having COOKING LESSONS along the RGS CORRIDOR.

on saturday night:
i dreamt that we were back at obs again. and we were having our sea expedition. i was the navigator again. and we were supposed to go to: THE ARCTIC. and isss told us that once we reached there, I, THE NAVIGATOR, had to CAPSIZE into the icy cold water to measure the thickness of the ice. then i recalled the march of the penguins, whereby the penguin got eaten up by this ugly sea monster. and i freaked out. so we kayaked from ubin and reached the arctic, (dont ask me how we managed to, its just a dream) and mich and i were swaying our kayaks, about to capsize, but, I WOKE UP. XD

on sunday night:
i forgot.

last night:
i dreamt that we were on another sea expedition, but this time it was to CHINA. so we miraculously kayaked all the way to china. and then ahead of us was this channel with RUSHING WATERS. it was so scary la! the waves were so high. so we had to stop there and go on shore. and as i got onto the shore, i saw a RAINBOW. HAHAHA. that's like so noah la! maybe God is trying to tell me smth. HOHO.

oh sigh i hope i dont continue having such dreams man. they're driving me nuts. was supposed to go to botanic gardens for some activities today. but it started at 8am! so early! by the time i woke up it was alrdy 1030. heh.

anw, on friday after cny celebration audrey and i went to taka. then as we walked past wisma, we were admiring the mini aquarium. and we saw this cute little sharkie chasing 4 cute little fishies. HAHA it was super funny la. they were going round and round the humongous tank. i suggested that they were having a CNY RITUAL. and audrey suggested that we could take a video of it and send it to america's funniest animals. and so i happily took a video of it, looking even stupider chasing them. and then we realised, we arent american citizens, so we're ineligible. HAHA. but oh well. here it is. actl its not that funny on video la. but im just very amused by the fact that i can upload videos onto my blog XD.

a week has passed since the grand openinig and yet there is still a stark contrast. this ugly tan mark has become famous amongst the sec 3s. and it'll probably go down as an obs legend of THE GIRL WITH THE WEIRD TAN MARK. its like everytime ppl will walk pass and see the mark and go "OH MAN! HAHAHAHAHAHHA!" -.- SUPER SAD K.

anw my thighs were peeling like mad yst. like mad as in REALLY LIKE MAD. i didnt wanna peel coz it looked so gross. budden even if i left it alone it just kept peeling and peeling on its own. and now, my entire right thigh is full of fresh skin. just imagine how much it was peeling. and my record of the largest piece of skin peeled is about this big.

haha today was mei ling's turn to peel. and so for the entire chinese lesson we were just peeling and peeling and peeling and the entire floor was filled with skin. AND SHARA IS DISGUSTING! she demanded mei ling's skin and she wanted mei ling to peel bigger ones. then she took it and SMELLED it. disgusting right! SHARA YOU HUNTER! very soon we're gona hafta set up a conserve-the-meiling project.

school today was super fun la! mr ng didnt come for math. so we used the lesson to do our modulus assignment and worksheet XD. then physics was boring la. as in we're still on foundations and all those measure techniques and what not la. so during grp work our entire grp was like tryna learn vietnamese from hai ly. its so hard can! like she was teaching us how to pronounce her surname nguyen.

hai ly: ngoooo-en
us: ngoooo-en
hai ly: *laughs* NOOOO NGOO-EN
us: NGOOOO-EN
hai ly: *shakes head* NGOOOO-EN!

and we're like ISNT IT THE SAME??!!! HAHAHA. ok but i think to them it sounds super wrong la. and we learnt 2 phrases. i like apple and i like you. so in order to see whether we had the correct pronunciation we went to say it to the other vietnamese ppl.

me: bao ngan come here! toynh tenk taonh
bao ngan: HUH?!
me: OH NO SHE DOESNT UNDERSTAND. ok. TOYNH- TEENK TAOOOONH

hahaha super sad la. but i feel so accomplished! i memorized all their names and matched all their faces! XD my next goal is to memorize their SURNAMES. i've memorized 2 surnames alrdy. XD and i shall end off with a revision of my vietnamese lesson today:

obs rocked. i shall start my personal recount of my past 5 days. but before i do so, WARNING: all who have yet to experience obs and do not want to spoil the fun of anticipation and excitement, GO AWAY. DON'T READ. PLUCK OFF THE WIRE FROM YOUR COMPUTER NOW. NOWWWWWWWW.

ok good.
day 1: i drank red bean soup with a humongous ant for supper.

day 2: we practised kayaking. first we practised our capsizing in the shallow water, which was only about 2m deep. then, we went out to the deep deep sea channel which was so deep that submarines could pass by. JUST IMAGINE. i was super scared la.

is: ok label yourselves A B A B *mel and mich gets A* ok now A move out, you will be the first to capsize and B will be your rescuers.

me: AHHH DOWAN DOWAN DOWAN GOT JELLYFISH!

is: quick all the As go down NOW. NOWWWWW. NOWWWW.

me: NONONONONONONONO *sways super hard and unintentionally capsizes* *kicks like mad in order to chase the jellyfish away but ends up having leg cramps*

and then later we went for our land expedition. clever mel volunteered to carry the mess tins. so when i put on my bag, WOA REALLY LIKE TORTOISE OK. i could hardly stand up la! i was falling backwards man. so after ages of hiking we finally reached our destination. so we built our CROOKED basher and ate our UNCOOKED rice with my fork and spoon which fell onto the MUD. then we went to the sea to wash our stuff. clever mel was squatting down on a rock with a torchlight in btwn her knees, washing her mess tins. and *SPLASH* energizer fell into the water. so mel screamed and reached out to retrieve it and *SCRATCH* scratched her hand against the barnacle-infested rock. hallelujah. and so i screamed for first aid and gerry and jia ning came over to put a cotton wool and tape my wound. and so on friday night, i had a grand opening of my cotton wool. and when i opened, TADA



IT WAS SO UGLY PLEASE. I ALMOST CRIED LA! cny coming summore. my ah ma surely scream one. anyway anyway

day 3:
RAFT BUILDING! we built a pro-ded raft and called it SO PRO. =) ROCKS. then kurt called their raft BEANCURD. AHHAHAHA. super funny la they! coz they had no guides inside. so all suka suka tie one. then the ground was uneven and they didnt tie the barrel tightly to the metal poles. so when they went into the water, their raft really beancurd man! when all of them sat on, the top part of the raft high above the water. then the middle part just nice floating on the water. then the bottom part sinking in the water. LOOK LIKE NATIONAL STADIUM! HAHAHHA! SUPER FUNNY LA we couldnt stop laughing man. plus their barrel came loose and floated vertically on the water, like dong dong qiang lidat. HAHA. and they looked as if they were posing for a class photo man. but ours was STEADY AND SO PRO =)

then we did climbing! not fair lor! the other watches just had to climb the rock wall. but kurt and bo seng had to climb the WOBBLY thingy. we had to climb this thing abt 15m high. the first part was the green snake ladder, followed by a wooden ladder and then a fishing net. then we were supposed to be connected as a pair and climb up. so mich and i were like "ok lets aim to reach the top of the wodden ladder, seems quite easy". and the moment i got onto the snake ladder, i started screaming. IT WAS ROTATING 360 DEGREES! and i was super scared la. we took 10mins to get from the snake ladder to the wooden ladder. mich stepped on my shoulder to get up. haha! according to hazel and a few other poks my face looked super funny/scrunched/constipated. NOT MY FAULT K i was so scared la. but in the end, we reached the top! XD

and then at night we had sea ex briefing. then they showed us this chart formation of how we were supposed to kayak. we had to be in this diamond shape with 4 leaders on each end. and i was like HOHO whoever is at the end suay man. imagine a sea snake comes and jumps at her XD. i'd never be one of those...i rather stick in the middle. and so when it came to choosing 4 leaders, one from each watch, TADA they chose me. and then amongst the 4 of us, when it came to choosing navigator, TADA they chose me too. I WAS SUPER SCARED LA. like i never expected to be navigator pls! i was so mentally unprepared! so i made a flowchart of all the possibilites and kept chanting it throughout the entire night:

1) navigator--> navigate--> 64 ppl--> 32 kayaks--> get lost--> everyone throw jellyfish at you

2) navigator--> first to kayak--> deep open sea--> high possibility of encountering jellyfish/sea snake

3)navigator--> capsize--> everyone else's kayak crash into you--> everyone laugh at you


day 4:
and so we set off. at first i was super scared la. but after that it got quite ok. but there was just one problem which i didnt forsee. since mich and i were the first to kayak, we would be pushing the STILL water in order to move, whereas everyone else behind us would be KOPING OUR CURRENT AND FLOATING ALONG WITH IT. SUPER THE NOT FAIR LOR. but anw, it was fun! along the way we saw alot of flying fish FLYING RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY COCKPIT =S

me: aye mich...actl the water out here is quite clean leh....*sees a piece of shit floating by....* HAH.

day 5:
so we kayaked back again. and i shall bravely announce this to the whole of kurt, bo seng, barker and swee seng: MICH AND I LOST OUR MAP THE NIGHT BEFORE. SO WE WERE ACTUALLY KAYAKING BACK WITHOUT A MAP =) DONT WE ROCK. HAHAHA. but we didnt get lost lor! so cool right XD

yay so now im back. I SURVIVED! IN ONE PIECE! XD obs was fun man. although somewhere towards then end of the camp i got homesick. but its still super cool! its like many things we did were challenging. before i did them i was like "oh man so scary i dont wanna do!" but after doing it i felt super accomplished XD

anw was doing songleading for jss in church this morning. yay i finally have a fixed role in jss. hahaha. they're very hip now lor. sing songs like Lord i lift Your name one high, MY REDEEMER LIVES. oh man. we never sang that during our time la. oh well. good for them la =D jacq's goingg off tonight...baah....i still remember when she came in 2004. i was like "im sec 1 now...jacq's sec 3, so the next time jacq comes back, she'll be 17! oh man that's so old!" ahhhh time flies. next time jacq comes she'll be driving a car. HAHAHA. oh well. ok i better go off and do some work now...though i've done most of them. BYEEEE!

YAY i had the best day today! i really did. i learnt a really big lesson. but i shan't say. SECRET =) anw, CAN I SAY THIS ONCE MORE. MY BROTHER IS REALLY CONCERNED ABOUT THE WELFARE OF MY BELOVED HANDPHONE. for my bday in p5 he gave me a hp pouch. for my bday in p6 he gave me a hp holder. for last christmas he gave me another hp holder. and for my bday today he gave me a.....HP POUCH! HAHAHAHA! but its super cute! its a giraffe! XD

yay. thnx all for your sms-es and gifts and cards! thnx char ling des limin peiting jo sab yunie and lijie for the porcupine! thnx yaru for ur pressie with the smudged spongebob drawing! (i havent opened it yet heh thnx kor for the hp pouch! thnx to my sec 1s: steffina for the letter! diyanah for the hand-made card! and chloe for your letter! shi yun for your e-card! and the biggest joke of all: thnx limin for the CHRISTMAS CARD! HAHAHAH! (u still owe me my hotelier lol). as for the sms-es, thnx limin sijia yaru zhixin jiahui wq tess mom&dad kor yuling husena gab rach oon. did i miss anyone out?? if i did thnx too! haha.

went for trng. then went to parkway for dinner with jacq ray and tess. we were having this photo taking frenzy outside the toilet la! coz there was this huge wall with a super nice background. super funny! haha took loadsa picks. then we made a passerby help us take an EVOLUTION picture. haha! XD



that's tess being prime ape-ish but ends up looking like she's licking my ass. me being gorilla-ish. ray acting like those MIB monsters. and jacq acting cute with her half-worn shoe. HAHA! yayy ok i better enjoy 2 more hours of my birthday. this would be the most unique birthday ever! BYE! XD

my birthday this year roxes.

4) friday = weekend = party long long
5) next week obs = no school = party even longer! XD

o yea. i better enjoy this birthday. in 2 days time im gona be an economically active citizen! *feels geoggish* and i can make my ic =D and can i just say this once more. 105 is so sweet and so cute la! its like today i stepped into their class and saw this:



so sweet right! and then another girl gave me a hand-made card! so sweet ah....anw then we had psl session. yup. and after that flora yiyin and i stayed back to talk abt how to improve on our sessions other than just proposals. and we ended up having this super inspirational talk. hahaha. was quite cool la.

anw first week of lessons have been quite slack la. still stuck with introductoin of all the weird stuff and all. except for math. haha i think mei ling's a super cool math partner la! its like we stare at the super cheem equation. and we're like "ok dont worry we can do it. the others who could do it were VIETNAMESE and they came in thru math. so their math is super pro. we're not lan. *pats shoulder*" HAHA. and then we came up with super weird self-invented logics to solve the problem. aye but we ended up with all the correct answers k! not bad sia! XD

oh yes. i add on to my new yr resolution. memorize all the vietnamese's names. i think they're names are super cool la! there's like a ngyuen qyunh loan. and then a ngyuen bao ngan. and a wad wad pyunh thi tor lanh. and a ngyunh qinh anh. ohoh and my favourite name, ngyuen HANH linh! the HANH is pronounced as the way the japanese say their yes. and it's with a *click* sound. and then on top of their names they've like all the weirdo thingies like ` and ~. SUPER COOL K! haha michelle and i have been like having fun shouting random names over the past few days =P

oh well. school's still rather weird. one less batch of snrs, one more batch of jnrs. including sitting at a different table in the canteen. and of course a different classroom. i still remember how i almost died everyday climbing 4 storeys and walking all the way to the end of E block. oh well. i'll get used to all these changes soon. i hope. looking forward to obs! but i think i'll feel homesick =(

sisters in learning, sisters at heart.

oh man....im missing orientation! orientation rocked ok! had stayover last night. we sat on the stage with all the other class's psls and everyone was busy making gifts for their sec 1s. haha. ours was super shibai la. our original plan was to put a message in a test tube with some colourful mnms, then cover the tube with a flower. first joelynn spent like ages teaching us how to fold flowers for them. then when we folded all our flowers and prepared all our notes, i had the honour of putting the first mnm in and SURPRISE. IT GOT STUCK. HAHAHA. we were like....*blink blink* *jaw drops* and we took a good 15 mins getting it out. so in the end we COMPROMISED =)

me: aiya nvm keep on hitting. im sure the mnm can come out la. if it can go in it can come out one.

flora: *sticks little finger into another tube* yea i dont understand why the mnms can't fit! see even my finger can fit in! *tries to pull it out and gets stuck*

HAHAHA. and so she took a good 10 mins to twist and turn and yank her pinkie out.

then we had NIGHT SURPRISE! haha our item rocked man! although it was rather lame XD and apparently my line has become very famous amongst the psls and sec 1s =S "pick up money drop again, pick up money drop again, ......x1000000" super pro k! its like a STUNT la! must do with the correct timing. the other time during practice i was doing halfway and got a lil tired. so i just paused for like a split second, and when i got up, *PIAK* gena whacked by char. AHHA. then i had muscle ache for 3 days also. so last night to prevent aching i did stretching before the performance =D

yupyup. anyway, the past few days have really been fun and memorable. its so amazing how time pasts so quickly. like just a while ago i was having psls. and now im one! and i guess the journey is very much different for me this time as compared to when i was sec 1. i've got responsibilities, a whole class to take care of...and much much more! but im really glad i chose to go on this journey. its cool man. anw i gtg now, super tired...and last but not least, 105 ROCKS! I LOVE YOU 105! =D

HAPPY NEW YEAR PULL YOUR EAR. i'd always look forward to new years coz that's the best time where i could start anew and study hard and live a better life and blablabla. but oh well. this yr it's somehow different. maybe coz i know everytime i set a resolution it never gets fulfilled. haha. but i shall and i MUST fulfil one resolution this yr. READ THE ENTIRE BIBLE. arghh i can never get myself to do that k. i tried before but failed to do so. so, im going to start TODAY. and force myself to do it no matter what. 2 chapters a day. problem is i don't know how im gona spread them out. 2 chapters a day, plus my daily devotion...hmm...nvm. zhongzhi i must read it no matter what. DIE DIE MUST READ. GO OBS ALSO MUST READ. (although i doubt so...haha.

and i've just come to a sudden realisation that...it's gona be quite tough for me and..well....many this yr. we'd all be clinging on to our old classmates and wouldn't be really comfortable with our new classes yet. plus...for the first week im gona be missing classes almost half the time la. oh well i pray hard that i can fit in quick enough. plus audrey's class is so so far away from mine! no more running over to scream at her anytime i want to.....=( bleagh. and i envy my brother. he gets what....2 or 3 weeks of orientation?! that's crazy man! whole day go out play play play....baah....nvm....my turn will come soon =D

whee yst was super cool. went to church for dinner and family night. then had stayover at tess's hse. we played some games. then after that we did a countdown outside her hse. we stood across the whole of jalan ismail and at exactly 12 we went HA-PPY-NEW-YEAR-PULL-YOUR-YEAR! HA-PPY-NEW-YEAR-PULL-YOUR-EAR! hahaha. then they played imaginiff. super funny la!

imagine if tess were a HISTORIC DISASTER. what would she be. one of the choices was sinking of the titanic. then the other one was stock market crash. haha! then imagine if amanda were to kiss her first date good night. which part of the body would it be? lips, cheek, back of hand, FEET or TONSILS. hahaha!

ok anw. im off now. going to pack my study room. its in a mess. BYE!
